Jar asks for your SMS permissions to enable savings by calculating roundups from all your transactions.

Every time you make a digital transaction, you receive a SMS on your device which contains the amount spent on that transaction. Jar picks up this transaction amount, rounds it up to the nearest 5 or 10 based on your settings and then invests the spare money into digital gold on your behalf.
